Hi All !!!

New Member alert!!!!!! Drinks are on me!!!!

I'm based in Medway Kent, so if anyone would like to hook up and show me around some lanes please get in touch!!!

I'm currently exploring on my own and to be honest not finding too many lanes locally so its gonna be throw the bike in the van and ride further afield.

bit far to go for me but welcome from not so sunny Cornwall, mines a pint of Stella - Ta!

If you're ever down this way in your van let us know at www.cornwalltrf.org.uk and we'll see if we can show you a few lanes.

Hi Tim,

Yeah I have my OS maps, there is very little in terms of lanes I can ride to in my area, I have just received a permit for a lane nearby and its really short and doesnt take me anywhere.
I'll be looking to hook up with the Kent group and go riding with them!!!!

Let us know next time your out Tim and I'll try and pop along for a ride!!!! If you dont mind me wobbling along that is !!!

I've had a quick look at Trailwise and it looks like there are a fair number of BOATS near Medway, and don't forget to check out UCRs and ORPAs as well.

You could also try registering over on TheRevCounter http://www.therevcounter.com - there's at least one chap who posts in the offroad section that lives in Kent and may be able to give you some pointers.

By the way, be careful riding on your own, particularly if you're not experienced. Getting stuck with a bike on top of you isn't good, and all of a sudden, a couple of miles of trail can seem an awfully long way from civilisation.

Hello Womble

Yeah I know riding alone is nt advised!!! I did fell rather vunerable!!!!

Thanks for the advice on the UCRS and ORPAS, I'll read up on these and see whats occuring!!!! As most people have advised my best bet is to get out there with some of the experienced guys and go from there!!!!

Cheers

Craig
