Hi Im Max had a good day out with John and Ian on Sunday covered 90 miles throughout the day, rode some great trails and managed to slide off a couple of times I'm looking forward to getting out again. My initial concerns were that the group might be a bit evangelical and stiff but not a bit of it I found the lads to be very laid back and we just got on and rode, I got loads of useful tips about my bike, tyre mouse's etc. Found the riding challenging and requiring concentration at times. Makes a pleasant change from riding out on my own... and safer. I enjoy navigating and logging the routes in my own area around Holmfirth and have discovered a couple of quarries with permission to ride. Im just in the process of joining the West Yorkshire branch Cheers.... |
