Post subject:  Help please - TPS tool for KTM & overheating advice...

Hi there all,

Firstly thanks for helpful suggestions last time I asked for advice on here - seat improvements for my freeride. Put extra foam in and recovered it. So much better now.

The issue I'm seeking help with now is adjusting the throttle position sensor. Does anyone have or know where I can source one of those cable contraptions that plugs in when you unplug the socket fron the throttle body. It is then much easier to get the multimeter connected. They can be bought from the USA but I'd rather hire one locally or buy one.
I'm on the Herts, Beds, Cambs boarder. Martin at torque racing doesn't have one I'm afraid.

Any help much appreciated.

Apparently there are the different types. A grey triangle shape. A black oval shape, and finally the one that fits the freeride which is black six sided connector.

Hi Dave

I have the very chap.
I used it to check the TPS setting on my Husaberg.
I'm not too far away from you - just north of Northampton.
If it's easier, drop me an email and I'll pop it in the post.

Steve, you're a star. I'll email you for your details tomorrow so I can send you something for your trouble.
Thanks again,
Dave
