Hmmm. Finally realised this week that I'm probably going to need driving/riding glasses, possibly bifocal.

I've got some semi distance glasses I can try as a half way house first (supposedly for tv but the mid distance difference is really noticeable) so will give them a go for a few days.

Perfect for trail riding behind a visor or as safety glasses. Cheap too... Just watch the strength you choose, I found 1.5 was not quite enough at GPS distance where it is usually good for spannering. But cheap enough to try out, I recommended them to a guy from our group and he was wearing them on Tuesday and seemed happy enough, we didn't get lost either and he was leading... :-)

Try a contact lens in your weaker eye for reading. You leave it in all the time and your brain gets used to it. Specsavers do this now (or at least peterlee one does).Worth a try?
