Hi, I've got a freeride 350 which I do like save for the bloody awful seat. Sure all the hard core dudes don't sit down anyway- but I'm no hardcore dude otherwise I would not have a freeride. Anybody got any tips on seat mods that improve the comfort. ??? Please ...my ass cannot stand it any longer !!!

Try some bubble packing and tape (on the seat, not your arse). If this wourks then consider a more permanent solution such as an airhawk seat.

If you alter the original seat it might be harder to sell on - lot's of buyers will not want a squidgy seat.

Thanks for the advice all. Found some good foam, bought a staple gun on evil bay and some seat vinyl- job done for £15

Sooo much better....even if it does look a bit home made.

Did you just put the foam on top of the existing seat cover then top it with the new vinyl?

Great guy makes them who exhibits at the Classic Dirt Bike show in Telford.

I have had one on my NX400 trailie for nearly 2 years and have ordered another for my AJP to save swapping it back and forth. ;) They work.... Not stylish, but practical and tough.
