I have been approached by a local wildlife officer asking me to highlight illegal riding within a wood/wild life preserve .The officer is trying to alert riders possibly unaware of their illegal use of the woods around Geneva road and the local by pass to avoid having to involve the regional police off road unit. As an ex trf member he is aware of the things that some riders believe are ok to use because a mate told them it was open for bikes to use.
So please be aware there are no vehicular routes passing through that particular area and any recreational motor use is illegal

Unfortunately Leo, persons involved in this kind of riding around Darlington and most other tows, know fine well it isn't legal, just the like the scrotes that I have to dodge while walking my dog along Green Lane and have smashed fences so they can access and tear up the crop fields at the bottom of Glebe Road.
