hi guys, has anyone linked 4 aa battery's and used them on the mini usb port to have extra power? If so rechargable battery's or have you used standard ones? Thanks

Hardwire a 12v phone charger to the bike and use this to power Via the mini USB. Seal with blue tac

Or hardwire the original cig lighter charger that comes with it. I housed mine in a small potting box and velcrod it to the headlight cowl. Been like that for last 3 years and works a treat. Wire it through an isolator switch to prevent battery drain when not using it. I used a universal handlebar mount rocker switch avail on fleebay.
