just got new boots, O,Neal moto boots. these are like ski boots and make me walk like Kryten from Red Dwarf. any tips on breaking them in.

was thinking about getting the old slegde hammer out, ill take them off first

anyway, i got the wife to wear them to walk to work for a week (hide the car keys) lol.

boots are now great, my method.

1, tie them up in the crouch position with string,
2, put them in a bucket in hot water, add a squirt of washing up liquid and leave for three days
3, take them out and beat with a mallet, or sledge hammer as i did
4, dry and wear them around the house and in bed
5, the wife will not be happy as not good for the floors or she ankles
6, tell her if she wears them to walk in it will give a better work out than them £90 boost trainers

most important is that after 5 days of the beloved walking to work looking like a middle age new person, tell her she looks great.

best thing is after the over indulgence season the wife will be saying " them boots are looking old" and will be happy for you to buy a new pair.
