Hello Dan,

Sorry to have to report that in my experience you would be wasting your time and money using Araldite or constantly replacing seals, the only answers are; to clean off the residue and top up regularly; fit gaiters to hide the mess; relieve the air pressure that builds up inside the forks after each run out; to rechrome your original units; fit used but in good condition units; or fit new replacements with gaiters especially if you want to keep the bike for the foreseeable long term future.

I would be happy to help you change them.

Hugh.

Hi Hugh only problem i have its jap import and never seen the forks for sale anywhere to date :( i just think if i was to araldite them it would just take the sharp edges away i am planning on selling the bike as i want something a little lighter but I'm in two minds weather or not to sell :( the front end just feels very how can i put it hard and it thuds up at me when i hit the odd rock really frustrating.
gators are probably my next buy altho KTM keeps shouting my name everybody seems to use them now
Will show you on Sunday the extent of the pits the bike was stored for 3 years shame really its an excellent bike
Cheers
Dan

Haven't used these guys myself (have them in mind for a ongoing project when funds allow) but if you strip them yourself 3~4 changes of seals and oil will pay to have them refrubed.

Hope it helps..

Dan,
Have you loosened the top triple clamp bolts before
trying to undo the fork top cap? I'm speaking from experience here!
