What is the best way to clean and dry your boots after a ride out?

Is it the traditional blast with the pressure washer and then stuff with news paper?

Hi, is this a joke?

i would never put water in my boot,

the best thing is a hoover and a brush, soft for areas which may scratch and hard for the carpet.

owhh and let the dirt dry before hoovering and then wipe plastics with mr shine or something.

hope you get it clean.

chris.

I think Chris 123321 may have misread the original post.

Blast them with a power washer and scrubbing brush and then do the newspaper thing.

You can buy boot dryers that blow warm air into them to dry them off, but I have a cheap (£10 Argos) ;) electric hot air heater in the garage, so I just leave them in front of that until dry.

Arguably, hot air drying isnt good for them, but if you need them dry quickly, it works.

Pressure washer and brush .
If the boots are wet inside insert a pair of tights and fill with cat litter great for absorbing the water .
Puss in Boots. :D

Speed drying will shorten the life of the boots.

Cat litter is an effective and posher alternative to newspaper, and had the advantage of being reuseable once dried out.

Either pressure wash whilst still wearing the boots or put them on top of a traffic cone upside down and rinse off the mud without filling with water.

My lurchers won't let me buy cat litter! They don't mind if I use Motorcycle News to dry my boots out so that's OK.
