Beta Xtrainer 2015 low miles, only 567

£3,950

Injury forces reluctant retirement, lots of extras including:
Carbon exhaust guard
Metal bash plate (original included)
Shock linkage protector
Radiator guards
Tubliss fitted to both wheels
Additional hidden kill switch
Quick release battery connector allowing quick removal of the battery
Accerbis Rally Pro hand guards (wrap around)
Protaper Pillow Top hand grips
Iridium spark plug
Michelin AC10 rear tyre
Gel battery (continually trickle charged)
3 x air filters

Since buying this bike last August I have stripped the rear end down and greased all linkages and bearings. My first ride was in December and I have only ridden it 3 times as I picked up an injury in April, so that was the last time it was ridden. I started it yesterday for the first time in over 3 months and it started in 2 seconds! Battery is always connected to a solar panel that trickle charges.

The digital display shows 291 miles. It was replaced by Beta UK when the original one failed with 287 miles, so total mileage is 578. The bike was taken by van to rides so low mileage.

All documents supplied, log book, Beta owners manual on disc, original purchase receipt, and bottle of Putoline MX5 2 stroke oil.

Since I've owned the bike it's only been ridden on the trails by a TRF member in their 50s.

I am based just 6 minutes inside the M25 (junction 24) in North London, 20 minutes from M1, 10 minutes from A1, 4 minutes from A406 (North Circular).

I have a van and can deliver at a cost of £2 a mile.

I can be contacted on 07958-506066.

Sorry to hear of your injury. That's a lovely-looking bike.

Hardest decision I've ever had to make to retire from riding. My head (and knees) say retire, my hart says carry on. I was so looking forward to riding her this summer and had plans for more upgrades to suit me

I've had troublesome knees since childhood, so can sympathise.

Best therapy I've found is cycling...nothing too hard and certainly not standing on the pedals to start with.

Have you thought about an electric-assist mountain bike...there's some crackers out there!
