strikes me as way too low a price, dealers are asking well over £3k for similar bikes on ebay. Is the 250 as low as the earlier 225? The 225 was always a superb trail bike for shorter people.

Yamaha XT250 Serow- Special edition. Electric start, fuel injection. It was new when I purchased it back in 2008; just 3000km since new. Handbook & spare keys etc. New Tax & Mot. It’s had an easy life and so it’s in excellent condition- all standard as it left the factory. Down near Poole, in Dorset. Yes it is just as low- and just as good at finding traction when other bikes get stuck. The Fuel injected model was a leap forward. All the problems I had when I owned the previous model revolved around the carb (ran VERY lean- especially difficult when starting from cold or when very hot). This FI model starts on the button every time. Ooooo... its under priced?  Strange I didn't get more interest then.  But hopefully I can sell it easily: I'm not chasing the last penny. It has been a very cheap bike to own and will give someone great service. |
