anyone here uses a KTM 690 enduro for laneing, getting to/back from and even some longer touring?
A very light bike it seem to me, yet enough oomph.

I used to. It was superb. I lowered the gearing too & it was still fine on the road.

Test rode a 250L: didn't really like it (then again, it was on road and I had just come off a GSA). obviously lighter, but not enough punch.
eXC 250, freeride 350, 690 enduro: didn't like the 250 at all, the 350 was ok and the 690 the best out of the bunch but still not convinced.

intrigued by the SWM models but not many dealers around.

the search goes on :-)
