Have bought a CRF250L and have my 15000km bog standard 2004 XR250R in red for sale. Have owned this bike since 2006 and its in very good condition, well maintained, 100% reliable. The XR comes with a touratech rack, braided front hose, frame protectors, trials rear and ISDT front tyres, recent chain and sprockets, alloy engine guard, acerbis brush guards, swinging arm bolt modified for easy greasing etc etc. 01225 710426 near Bath.

I also have an Acerbis long range tank for sale to fit the XR250, 600, 650 range.

Id pay you £1450 for it. I think that's a fair bid for an XR250.

£1450 is a good start, but given the kit and the history I think it's a little on the low side.

I got £1550 for my 05 jap xr250 stood me at £2200 with all the extra bits i added bikes are not worth spending on

Malton - so true. Good standard XR's with the right mods are indeed becoming increasingly difficult to come by. Am in no hurry to sell, but willing to consider sensible offers or a trade plus cash for a late clean TTR600.

Hold out you might get a better price, they are a good green laner,I would only buy it and leave it in the garage anyway! Maybe after Christmas you might get a better price, good luck with the sale
