My relationship with the mitas CO2 is now over I have just ripped one to shreds in the Yorkshire Dales on the back of my 690 which caused me issues for the day in fact it wouldn't take a tube as it would bubble out of the side wall .
Any recomendations for a new rear LoL.
By the way i run the tubblis and it held out great even 15 miles back to the van.

Untrendy these days, but Pirelli MT21 are as tough as old boots. I've ridden on them with no tyre pressure and they've still come back for more.

If you want something a bit more 'road' orientated then Mefo Explorer/Super Explorer. The Super Explorer is actually made from iron according to the bloke who fitted mine to my 950.

Zen Overland usually has stocks of both

I'll have a 75 mile used rear (one day in Wiltshire only) and barely used front MT21s going spare in a few days.
As per my earlier post, with the purchase of my Husky 450, I am making my 690 enduro a road bike with Mitas E07 so they will be coming off.

If you're interested, I'll come up with a price and delivery cost.
The rear cost me £125 I think but obviously there will be a decent discount.
I can throw in a 75% worn rear as well but would only really be any good for dry summer lanes.

Reply or PM if of interest. :D

Thanks for the offer and advice but have no purchased a Mitas E09 Dakar 130/80/18.
I have previousy run one at the rear at 140/80/18 with a mousse and was fine but a bit to big hence the now 130 so with the tubliss fitted i will run it at around 15psi.
I will post my findings.
