Hi Pete and Simon

I can confirm that you both have places on the C2C.

I now have the final info from Leo and I will be sending this out over the next couple of days.

Pete I've replied to your email and also sent a message via Craig Layfield. Apologies if you did not receive it/them. Could you check your junk box please?

Cheers.

Hi Gill,

Thanks for the further confirmation.
Unfortunately I have not made it to the two most recent TRF meets so I haven't seen Craig for a while.
I've searched through my emails but no results from you in any folders when I search 'gill','mitchell' or 'trf'.
Anyway, thanks again and I look forward to receiving the letter.

New tyres home and ready to be fitted for the trip, really looking forward to it.

Project finished ready for Coast to Coast Run next month. Wanted something light that I could use on and off road. My Tiger Sport was to heavy my KTM 300 to uncomfortable to ride for 8 hrs. Read an article in Adventure bikes about CB500X,s been a good cheap alternative. Started to look for one and came across a Cat D 65 plate with 600 miles on the clock, needed new bars and levers front headlight cowling and exhaust had a scrape down it. Worth a look headed down to salvage yard and yes as described with no other damage "I will have it" deal done handed over £2200. Got her home, ordered the bits adding a few extras, engine covers, hand guards, rally raid decals, k80 tyres and getting the rims done in gold. Had its first outing last Sunday great loop round Yorkshire Wolds loop with E Yorks TRF group dealt with conditions really well. So if you are after a cheap Adventure bike have a look at one of these before you spend your hard earned cash. Bike stands me at £2800 well happy. Looking forward to C of C any info yet

Our group of big bikes isn't - we're doing a lot of white roads and even maybe taking in York Minster
