WOW!!! If that's just for hobbies and recreation and not your business, I reckon you've definitely won 1st prize for best garage.. ;)

Any more entries for the best garage comp?

Where did you get the peg board / tool rack / wall storage kit from? it looks really good quality?

Cheers

Steve

I cant take all the credit as its Its actually my job. I work in machine maintenance for a engineering firm.

The tool racks are from a company called Hoffman group. Very good quality stuff.

I managed to to negotiate 24 hour access 7 days a week and permission too work on bikes as part of my contract. I just had too pay for all the bike specific tools. Find myself a space and build a workshop. Everything there on the photo coat less than £5000 including the lathe. (which i had too refurbish)

My own garage is a powerless shell full of mtbs ;)

Nearly, colchester triumph 2000 :)

Came out of a local school, they had stopped using it due to health and safety, and it had been stood for 5 years. I offered them £600 for it and id remove it for them. They where over the moon. It had had very light use. So just needed all the slideways cleaning, new chuck and tool post, and motor bearings. Runs good as new

Thanks Jon. I'll have a look over the weekend. I'm moving to a new house at the end of the month and I'm gonna have a double garage for the first time - can't wait.
I'll really enjoy buying something for me instead of endless soft furnishings, lamps, lighting, mirrors....etc etc etc!!

Great perk of the job you've got there and I guess as an extra bonus it's very secure too.

Thanks again for the link

Steve
