The aim of the event is to ride over 550/800km with GPS, off-road through some amazing mountains and terrain in northwest Italian Alps rediscovering minor road networks on old dirt roads .
It has been brought to life thinking of it as an opportunity to share with
friends the common passion of riding motorcycles with no competitive
aims, still with the ambition of the challenge that a non stop 24/36 hours off road marathon can give.

Teams autonomy and responsibility are the pillars of this tour:each participant will receive all necessary information needed to evaluate tracks and trails to follow to reach designated points of control, assistance and refreshment.

The Alpine Frame, one of the most spectacular in the world, makes this ride...the ultimate "adventuring" ride!

The HARDALPITOUR is aimed at riders of bikes around and over 150Kg, which are looking for adventure, challenge but not for racing and competition. Single dual sport riders and adventure bike riders are all more than welcome.
Participation limited to teams of three riders. Each team must have at least one GARMIN compatible to load event tracks and waypoints.
Solo entrants are welcome to meet other bikers looking to form a team on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Over2000riders/362234980495570?fref=ts

The Rally is organised by http://www.over2000riders.com, who run guided off-road tours and training days in and around the region. Their knowledge of the terrain is second to none.

SEVERAL NEWS FOR THIS 7th EDITION, including one extra day with the event starting on Friday morning, "The Appennini Discovery Tour" a 120-km tour on both asphalt and easy dirt but spectacular roads, reserved to a limited number of participants, accompanied by FMI guides.
A new version of the HARDALPITOUR, "The Light HAT". 24 hours long and with a similar amount of kilometres to cover to the "The Classic HAT", however mitigated by by 12 hours of tarmac and 12 hours of dirt. The Light HAT is for those who wants to ride the HARDALPITOUR and live its atmosphere but are approaching it for the first time or don't feel ready for the challenge of the Classic HAT.
For the real hardcore riders "The Extreme HAT" will be the must!
