A great event, thanks to all for organising and planning the routes.

I must admit, I was a bit fed up of punctures, four in three days, all rears.

I heard that another in our group equalled this score over the camping weekend.

I think all mine were down to the inside of the tyre breaking up and wearing away the inner tube.

It was a Mitas CO2, with plenty of tread left on.

It looks like it's started to delaminate, split, crack, scab up, on the areas between the knobles, but all damage is inside the tyre.

Nothing at all to see from the outside though. Looks perfect.

Perhaps it's something to check if an epic journey is planned.

Glad to hear that people enjoyed it. It would be nice to run it again next year with a bigger turn out.

It was an excellent trip and I am already looking forward to next year's. Thanks to everyone in the adventure bike group for making us southern softies so welcome, and especially to Leo for the superb route (and for putting us all to shame with his road tyres and top box !!).
