Post subject:  Decent 'adventure' boots?

Hi guys,

I'm after a pair of boots for commuting/touring/adventure riding, so a bit of everything but predominantly road riding. I say adventure boots as I want something with more protection than your average road/race boots - I'm too used to my Tech 3s and going back to road boots leaves my feet feeling vulnerable! So I'm looking for something with very good protection and waterproof. Off-road styling is not essential. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Wozza

I have just bought a pair of Forma adventure boots, not only waterproof but very comfortable ,you could walk a good distance in them if your that way inclined and they are of course very protective.

They are what all CRF250l riders should be wearing  .

Take a look at Gaerne React boots - popular enduro boots, light weight, great protection, comfortable, great price.

W2 http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/prod ... boots/1981 You may be able to get them for £150.
They have been very good at the waterproof bit - even during the recent heavy rain and deep water.
I also wore them on my India trip and were all day comfortable, even in 30C temperatures but they are warm in winter. No need for Sealskinz socks.

Treated myself to a pair of sidi adventure. Gobsmacked as to how good they are. waterproof, warm, comfortable, robust.

I do a lot of riding all year round. These boots are pricy but a worthwhile investment.

+1 for the Sidi Adventure, top boots but top price to match

On my second pair of Sidi Adventurers now (last pair did me for well over four years) ...

best boots I've ever had.

+1 - these are amazing straight out of the box. virtually zero break-in time.
