I'm just wondering if there are any other TRF members who are owners of Tigers, 1050, 800, 1200, or otherwise. I've had mine for almost a year now and I love it.
I've only managed one decent trip in that time, a wee trip around the highlands, but it's a fantastic machine

Iv'e just bought a Tiger 800 XC which is what prompted me to suggest this new thread. I just need to get some new tyres so I can hit the trails (nice easy ones at first). Iv'e done a few road trips on it over the last few weekends and am loving it. I’m thinking the Continental TKC 80s or Heideau K60 Scout, any suggestions !

Both tyres work okay on the XC. The TKCs are nicer to be honest, as a bit softer. But then you will get more miles out of the scouts but not necessarily quite as smooth.

Got a 98 Steamer but with only 10k miles from new its just too nice to leave the tarmac. Or even the garage very often!

I had a Tiger 1200 for 8 months (no off road though ) loved it but due to l/hand/wrist joint problems and left knee swopped it for a Honda Crosstourer 1200 DCT (auto.twist and fly). This is fantastic but again definately for me not off road.

Got a Suzi.drz400s for trying to ride(falling off) on the rough stuff.
